Magnetic Alphabet!! I made these cute little magnets out of assorted fabric, batting, and sturdy magnets. I just love them! They are so much cuter than the boring plastic ones. Not to mention, they are safer for young children as well. I can definitely see myself making a few more sets of these in the future. Maybe for birthday or Christmas gifts.

ReplyDeleteThank you!! :-) and do love your magnets. great way to use up scraps of fabric!
ReplyDeleteThat is exactly what I did! I didn't have to buy a single thing for this project! :)
ReplyDeleteThe are amazing Megan! How tall did you make them?
ReplyDeleteThey're about 3.5-4 inches tall. They're so fun!
ReplyDeleteMegan--
ReplyDeleteHere's another idea to build on for these letters. (love them btw) I like how you did the colors--that way you can teach not only the letters but colors too. You could also do numbered fabric for some of the letters to teach numbers AND you could also do shapes fabric on some of the letters. That way, you can help them letters, letters, colors, numbers and shapes all on 1 magnetic alphabet! That is, IF you have those types of fabric. Just a thought... :)
